Bentley's Annual Juneteenth Celebration is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2024, from 2:00 - 5:00pm.

Juneteenth is a significant holiday observed on June 19 to honor the liberation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. It commemorates the historic event in 1865 when Union soldiers reached Galveston, Texas, and declared the end of slavery, following the Emancipation Proclamation issued two years earlier. Juneteenth serves as a day for contemplation, learning, and revelry in African American heritage and history.

The event will feature live music, great food, community speakers, and holiday treats.
