Bentley University

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent in the Christian calendar. It is a day for reflection, prayer, and for many Catholics a day of fasting. It is a day of repentance and a renewed commitment to God. Ashes are placed on the forehead or sprinkled on the head as a sign of human mortality marked by the grace and eternal love of the divine. Rev. Olson, Fr. Ted, and Chaplain Intern Alyssa will be in the Sacred Space to administer the imposition of ashes (with all covid- safety measures.)
