Business in Society: How Corporate America Can Act as a Force for Good (D.C.) - Livestream
Since 2022, Bentley University and Gallup have collaborated to understand how Americans perceive the role of business in society. While businesses are key to the U.S. economy, there's a debate over whether their influence should extend beyond profit-making. Generally, Americans see businesses as beneficial to society, but they have concerns about business involvement in politics and ethical worries about new technologies like AI.

Join Bentley University and Gallup as they convene a panel of business leaders and experts in our nation’s capital to discuss businesses’ evolving role in America today and what they must do to be seen as forces for good.

Hear leaders discuss:

  • The changing role of businesses in society today.
  • How politics and social issues are influencing how businesses speak out.
  • Public concern over business use of AI — and how companies can address it.
  • Americans’ changing views on CEO pay and the four-day workweek.
