Event Description: In collaboration with the Office of Equal Opportunity & Institutional Equity, this session—facilitated by The Network/La Red—focuses on building environments where LGBTQ+ survivors feel seen, affirmed, and safe. This open conversation invites participants to explore what safer spaces look like in practice, how power and identity shape survivor experiences, and the everyday actions that help reduce harm. Through dialogue, reflection, and shared learning, the session offers tools for supporting LGBTQ+ survivors with respect, intention, and community care.
