Fostering a strong sense of belonging on campus can greatly impact the success of our first-generation students. In this workshop, attendees will gain insight and actionable strategies to create an inclusive environment and meaningful connections for our First Falcons. We will explore four areas of belonging within the context of higher education and reflect on practical approaches to increase a sense of belonging. Participants will gain insights into the unique experiences of first-generation students and learn how to leverage institutional resources to address these needs effectively.
